Christopher Columbus Who?

The Mistery of Columbus not Revealed
in the words of Don Fernando Colon printed in
História del Almirante (History of the Admiral Columbus)

in the original Italian with a date of 1571.

Many have been those who have written that  Don Fernando Colon told us all there was to know about Christopher Columbus's identity and Christopher Columbus's birthplace. Yet this is not true. Don Fernando Colon did not reveal half of the Columbus Mystery although the half that he did reveal was enough for us to write a mismatched history. The missing link in all of the histories of Christopher Columbus was his Portuguese life. By passing over the Portuguese life and the Portuguese wife of Columbus as insignificant a major part of Columbus's identity was erased and rewritten. It was by reviewing the Portuguese component of Columbus that we were able not only to poke holes in the current fantasy of a poor Genoese but to actually fill in the missing links that were needed to put the whole Columbus voyage into perspective.
Yet this was not needed if the words of Fernando Colon had not been so forcibly pushed on us as the "Mystery solvers" that they are not. In fact they still conceal the Mystery quite well as we can see from the 1571 original.
Historia del Almirante, pg1 Colon Rosa ./

End of line 5 he explains "Some wanted me to endeavor to say..."
and then Fernando gives a laundry list of what others were inventing but that he refused to confirm.

Terminating the laundry list, right away on line 20th, Fernando starts. "
But I removed myself from such a task..."
(
he refused to confirm the rumors). For this reason the words prior have no weight at all. They remained as rumors and they are clearly NOT the words of Don Fernando but of others.

Historia del Almirante page 2 Colon Rosa

Continuing on the next page, in the middle of line 6 , Don Fernando starts a new dialog about the secrecy that his father required.

"
In a way that...both his motherland and origins should remain less certain and known.." (period)

On Line 10 Fernando starts with "
Because some that in a certain way think to obscure his fame, say he was from Nervi.....

Another words from Line 10 until line 26 Don Fernando is describing the rumors and falsities that others were spreading, those that wanted to make Columbus less than he was  him as well as those that wanted to make Columbus into something that  he was not saying that he was from a "
Colombo family of  Piacenza ...and thus he called himself Colon."   (this thought finishes with another period)

In all of these sentences we should not take them as the words of Don Fernando but clearly as the words of others.

Because after the period Don Fernando starts with :
"
Considering all of this (that I just wrote) I was led to believe that in the same way that most of his things were surrounded by mystery
Historia del Almirante page 3 colon rosa   .. so too what has to do with the diversity of such a name and surname was not devoid of mystery.

Another words all of Columbus's life was truly mystery including his first and his last names.
Now that Don Fernando left the whokle mystery of the birthplace, origins, lineage and true name a mystery just as his father had required he goes on to give us the actual correct explanation for where the names Christopher and  Colon came from. On the middle of line 2 he starts

"Many names could be brought as examples that were given by some occult cause as an evidence of what was about to happen...

Then fernando explain that his fatehr could have been seen as being a Dove (Colombo)in the sense that he acted to bring Grace of  the Dove of the Holy Spirit to the New World...because the Holy Spirit showed itself to St. John as a Dove.."

Another words Christopher Columbus or rather Cristobal Colon was only a symbolic Dove (Colombo or Paloma) and only while he acted as the porter of the Holy Spirit to those who did not know of it.

On the 19th line he ends the explanation for this symbolic Dove and then tells us the real reason why Columbus chose the name COLON which trumps and proves false all the other rumors that came before..
"
And therefore it came to him as if on purpose the surname COLON ... because in Greek it means MEMBER."
Indeed the Latin colon comes from the Greek kolon meaning member and is used in our punctuation as colon (:) and semi-colon (;) and Columbus used both of these symbols : ./ in his secret signature.

Now on line 25 Fernando gives us the clear Latin of the name as "
Christophorus Colonus". This is not because Fernando did not know how to write Dove in Latin as Columbus but because his father's name had nothing to do with Columbus.
