| Are all of the letters attributed to Christopher Columbus authentic? Since we have succeeded in proving the falsity of the Last Will of Columbus we are now curious about how many other documents are false. Look below. The top letter of Columbus is from the Spanish Archives and most likely not a fraud. The second letter is from the Genoese Archives and most likely is a fraud. Why? Because the handwriting is different and the signature is different. Unless Columbus was able to change his own handwriting at will these letters come from two different people and only one of them could have been Columbus. ![]() ![]() ![]() Signature of Columbus showing the big S monogram he usually placed at right. ![]() Columbus S monogram.
